Eastwoodhill Arboretum is a fantastic place to visit, no mater what time of the year. Autumn, however is the highlight and this video captures some of the vivid colour on display at this magical time of year.

Eastwoodhill Arboretum is the largest collection of Northern Hemisphere trees in the Southern Hemisphere encompassing an area of 135 hectares.
Covering 1 hectare within the arboretum is the Homestead Garden. A formal garden cared for by a group of dedicated volunteers. In 2004, the Homestead Garden was recognized as a Garden of National Significance by the NZ Gardens Trust.
A variety of walking tracks encompass the whole arboretum both long and short, gentle and strenuous catering for all levels of fitness. Eastwoodhill Arboretum offers guided walking and 4 wheel drive tours, function venue, team building, conference facilities and catering options for visitor convenience.An Eastwoodhill signpost is approximately 50metres along the Wharekopae Road after the roundabout on the left hand side. Eastwoodhill is 23km from this point.
